Retiring a cluster's membership from the federation cluster
A multicluster administrator, or a user with the SMC_CLUSTER_VIEW or SMC_CLUSTER_CONTROL permission can retire a member cluster from the federation cluster, and from the federation cluster waiting list. It is no longer a member cluster, and returns to being a lone cluster.
About this task

Cluster Members page of the multicluster management console. You can remove a
cluster from your multicluster environment with the
Retire function.
Note: For IBM® Spectrum Symphony
7.3.2 or
earlier, the multicluster

a cluster, restart the SMCP service before you authorize the cluster to rejoin the federation
cluster.
