Why isn't the Hosttype updated if I reinstall my compute host with a different operating system?

Changing the operating system type of a host that is already joined to the cluster is not supported. If it is necessary to change the operating system type, perform the following steps as a workaround:

1. Remove the host from cluster.
2. Reinstall the operating system.
3. Add the host to the cluster.
