What do I do if the resource attributes for a host change, affecting the host's slot count?

The slot count on a host can depend on the resource attributes of this host; therefore, if the resource attributes change, the slot count is affected. To ensure that the slot count on a host is accurate, remove the host from the cluster and then rejoin it back to the cluster.

The following steps outline this procedure:
  1. Remove the host from the cluster:
    1. Shut down EGO on the host: 
      egosh ego shutdown
    2. Remove the host from the cluster:
      egosh resource remove host_name
  2. Start EGO on the host so that the host rejoins the cluster: 
    egosh ego start
