LSF_DAEMON_NICE_RES
Adjusts the UNIX nice
value for the RES
process.
Syntax
LSF_DAEMON_NICE_RES=integerDescription
CPU-intensive jobs on execution hosts that include job processes
that can occupy a lot of CPU time, which can affect the response time for LSF
daemons (LIM
, PIM
, RES
, sbatchd
,
or mbatchd
). Use
this parameter to configure the nice
value (typically a low value) of the
RES
process on UNIX to help with daemon communication. After changing this
parameter, restart the RES
process for this change to take effect.
Valid values
Specify an integer between -20 (the highest priority) and 19 (the lowest priority).
Default
The default priority of the RES
process is -20.
