View time series graphs for clusters and hosts
Time series graphs present cluster status and details that depend on time. Time is the X-axis in these line graphs.
To learn more about LSF graphs, refer to LSF Graphs and Graph Template documentation or go to Knowledge Center and search for specific Graph information: http://www-01.ibm.com/support/knowledgecenter/SSVMSD/welcome.
The following is a list of actions you can take to view time series graphs of your cluster status and details:
View graphs by using the Tree, List, or Preview view.
Click the Graphs tab, then one of the icon tabs on the right side of the tabbed menu interface to view time series graphs in the Graphs page. For more information, see Viewing modes.
View graphs by using the action icons.
When you are viewing rows of data that have action icons, you can view time series graphs for the specific row (such as a specific cluster, host, or queue) by clicking the View host job detail or View graphs action icon.
Configure the graph display settings.
Click the Graphs tab, then the Settings tab on the right side of the tabbed menu interface. For more information, see Settings tab (from the Graph page).
When in the Graphs page, you can view graphs by using the Tree, List, or Preview views.
Click the Graphs tab, then the Tree view tab on the right side of the tabbed menu interface to access the graphs in Tree Mode. Use this viewing mode to access all graphs as organized by device and cluster in the tree. This tree is customizable, as are all graphs, from the Console tab. Devices can be added to the tree and modified from the Console tab.
Click a root-level tree name to view summary information about all devices within that section (view thumbnails).
Click a tree section to view host-specific information in graph form.
Beside a graph, click the magnifying glass to view more detailed information that is broken down in different ways.
If you zoom into a graph, you are presented with detailed information.
Beside each graph, you can click a wrench icon to display helpful debugging information that is collected by an RRD tool.
Click the Graphs tab, then the List view tab on the right side of the tabbed menu interface to access the graphs in List Mode. Select one or more cluster names from the list, then click View. The selected graphs display.
Click the Graphs tab, then the Preview tab on the right side of the tabbed menu interface to access the graphs in Preview Mode. From the preview page, you can filter by host to limit the number of graphs displayed.
Settings tab (from the Graph page)
Go to the Graph tab, then by clicking the Settings tab on the right side of the tabbed interface. You can configure the appearance of your graphs and default page settings, and the page consists of the following sections:page by clicking the
General: Configure general graph options and display formats.
Graph thumbnails: Configure the size of the thumbnails that are used to represent your graphs.
Tree View Mode: Configure the tree defaults and display when in tree view mode.
Preview Mode: Configure the preview mode display.
List View Mode: Configure the list view mode display.
Graph Fonts: Choose whether to use your own custom fonts and font sizes or the system defaults.
