What does this graph template show?

This graph shows available physical memory and available swap space relative to reserved memory for a host over time. This type of chart is useful in determining whether job resource requirement strings are reserving appropriate amounts of memory for a job. It is critical to get this balance right. If memory requirements are over-stated by reserving too much memory, it can lead to inefficiencies since jobs would pend and look for machines with artificially large amounts of available memory and creates an underutilized cluster. If the reverse is true, and reserved memory is insufficient, hosts can have memory over-subscribed leading to severe performance issues and possible host crashes.
