Disk Monitoring
The DiskU plugin's purpose is to help HPC administrators keep track of who in their organization is consuming data on disk. Settings for Disk Monitoring are found on the RTM Plugins tab of the Settings screen (Console > Configuration > Settings).
File System Pollers
Disk Monitoring File System Pollers (Console > Disk Monitoring > File System Pollers) allows users to control which disk usage data to collect for use in a relational database.
The Disk Monitoring Pollers screen shows the disk poller host name, the current status of the poller (Down, Up, or Unknown), the location, the launch frequency, the last launch time, the last launch day, the number of file paths it is monitoring, number of pending threads, number of running threads, the last run time, the average run time, the maximum run time, the time when it was last started, and time when it was last ended.
View disk usage in a variety of ways using the Disk Monitoring Dashboard (Grid > Disk Utilization). View the disk usage By Volume, By Organization, By OS User, By OS group, By File Extension, By Application, and By Tag Name.
File System Scan Paths
Disk Monitoring File System Scan Paths (Console > Disk Monitoring > File System Scan Paths) allows users to add the disk monitoring paths that are monitored for usage.
The Disk Monitoring Paths screen shows the path name, the full file path, a tag name for accounting, location, enabled indicator, current status (Idle or Running), number of pending threads, number of running threads, Depth / Threads (number of directories under the path to poll), Cur Time (the last run time), Avg Time (the average run time), Max Time (the maximum run time), time when it was last started, and time when it was last ended.
