Data source examplesCreating data source from scratch is an advance feature. You can either use the samples templates provided and tailor according to your needs, or create your own. Here are some of the examples for you to try out:Access remote file via SSHIf your Options file are on a different machine, then follow these instructions if you want to access your remote file via SSH.Grid Settings (Maint)The Grid System Settings > Maint page provides LSF users ways to maintain the systems that are important for the smooth running of RTM. This provides governance on database maintenance, tuning and backup.RTM System UtilitiesThe Console > Utilities > RTM Utilities page contains three utilities and shows a list of the most recent Cacti database backup files.Settings (Performance)The Performance tab on the Console > Configuration > Settings page configures the Boost plug-in, which is designed to enhance Cacti performance, especially for large sites.Settings (Alerting/Thold)The Settings > Alerting/Thold page configures the Cacti alerting and threshold settings.Settings (Paths)The Paths tab on the Console > Configuration > Settings page sets up the paths to various RTM command tools. By default, all paths point to /usr/bin for the tools. Usually this does not require any change unless you have done a manual custom installation.Settings (Authentication)The Settings > Authentication page provides controls for user authentication. Settings (RTM Plugins)The RTM Plugins tab on the Console > Configuration > Settings page contains all settings related to RTM plugins. Most of the plugins have default values that do not need to change.Settings (Visual)The Settings > Visual page configures the look and feel of the RTM GUI.
