This graph shows how many virtual memory jobs are associated with an application profile use on average over selectable time periods. It is useful to correlate this with resource requirement expressions defined in batch queues, application profiles or at the command level to make sure that an appropriate amount of resource is requested when scheduling applications of this type. If too many resources are requested, efficiency is degraded, whereas requesting insufficient resources can result in badly overloaded hosts and possible crashes as hosts run out of virtual memory.
