Verifying that Db2 is installed correctly

You can verify that Db2® is installed properly by using the command-line processor (CLP) or the First Steps GUI.

To verify that Db2 is installed, complete the following steps:
  1. Create the SAMPLE database.
  2. Connect to the SAMPLE database.
  3. Run a query against the SAMPLE database.
  4. Drop the SAMPLE database.
