Manually starting Db2 on Windows

Start IBM® Db2®on Windows™ operating systems.

To start Db2® manually, complete the following steps:

1. Start the following Windows services:
   • DB - DB2-0
   • DB2DAS - DB2DAS00
   • DB2 JDBC Applet Server
   • DB2 License Server
   • DB2 Security Server
2. Open a Db2 command window.
3. From the Db2 Command window, run the db2start command.
