Setting the session timeout value

How to change the timeout value for a Common Internet File System (CIFS) session from a Windows client.

About this task

A session timeout can occur when a Spectrum Archive volume is accessed from a client though network sharing. If this timeout occurs, users might see a network error. If this kind of network error occurs frequently, it is recommended that you change the session timeout value. The default timeout value is 45 seconds.
