Installing Microsoft .NET Framework 4

How to install Microsoft .NET Framework 4 on a Windows system for IBM Spectrum Archive™.

About this task

Complete the following steps to install the required software on a Windows system:
Note: Spectrum Archive must be installed by an administrative user.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Stand-alone Installer) download site.
  2. Download the file to your local folder.
  3. Double-click the file in Windows Explorer.
  4. Click Yes when the message Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer? is displayed.
  5. Follow the installer instructions.
