Using jobs
Use jobs when you want to schedule workflows to run automatically at specific times, dates, or intervals.
Open the Jobs page.
- If you are connected to another application, such as Compliance center, click the application switcher and switch to Compliance center workflows.
- In the Compliance center workflows sidebar, click Jobs.
In this page, you can view the list of scheduled jobs along with the following information about each one:
- Its name.
- The name of the workflow that it runs.
- The Cron expression that defines the job schedule.
- Its status, that is, whether it is enabled.
- Its deletion policy, that is, whether it will be deleted when it expires.
- The time zone that was used to schedule the job.
The list includes jobs that you created and shared jobs from other users. You can search the list and sort it by job name or time zone. If you are an administrator, you can view all jobs in the system by turning on the Include all user jobs switch.
You can also perform these tasks:
- Create a job
- Click + Create job and provide the details in the Job details page. For more information, see Creating jobs.
- Enable or disable a job
- In the job list, use the Enable switch to enable or disable a job.
- Automatically delete a job when it expires
- In the job list, turn on the Auto-delete switch to make sure that the job will be automatically deleted when its configured end time is reached.
- Edit a job
- Select a job from the list and in the Actions menu, click Edit. The job is opened for editing in the Job details page. When you edit the job details, you can also rename the job itself.
- Delete jobs
- Select one or more jobs and in the Actions menu, click Delete. In the dialog, confirm whether you want to delete the jobs.
