Virtual machine service
Provision and manage virtual machines on a Red Hat® OpenShift® cluster with the virtual machine service.
Tech preview The virtual machine service is in preview and does not include guidance for administrative and non-administrative access capabilities.
Capabilities
You can provision virtual machines in IBM® Sovereign Core with the virtual machine service. The service provides access to the Red Hat® OpenShift® console to handle the complete lifecycle of virtual machines on a cluster, including creation, configuration, and deprovisioning.
Usage tracking
Service usage is tracked based on the amount of CPU and memory used by virtual machines.
You can monitor your resource usage by using the IBM Sovereign Core API. For details, see Metering in IBM Sovereign Core.
