Post-installation setup for watsonx Code Assistant

After you install watsonx Code Assistant, you must set up the service before you can use watsonx Code Assistant.

Creating a deployment space

Use a deployment space to authenticate VS Code and Eclipse plugin users. For more information, see Getting started with watsonx Code Assistant.

  1. Log in to IBM® Software Hub.
  2. Change the experience to IBM watsonx Code Assistant™. To switch between experiences, click the Switch locations (Switch locations icon) icon in the toolbar.
  3. Create your new deployment.
    1. Click Deployments in the toolbar.
    2. Click New deployment space.
    3. Enter a name for your new deployment space, then click Create.
