Service statuses in Data Virtualization

Use the status to determine the state of a provisioning or provisioned Data Virtualization service.

Service statuses

The service statuses fall into three categories:
Successful
The object is installed and running as expected.
In progress
The service provisioning is in progress.
Error
The service provisioning did not succeed or the Data Virtualization instance is not running as expected. For more information, see The service instance fails to start.

These statuses apply to all Data Virtualization service pods. Run the following command to see the status of the Data Virtualization instance pods.
oc get pods -n ${PROJECT_CPD_INST_OPERANDS} | grep dv

The provisioning process for the Data Virtualization service has many parts and can take 10 - 60 minutes, depending on your environment.
