Upgrading the service

Choose the appropriate upgrade topic depending on the service version you want to upgrade from and follow the steps in that topic.

Before you begin

If you are using a remote Db2 target database, complete the steps described in Patching the configuration for Remote Db2 target databases before starting the upgrade procedure. These steps include refreshing the remote Db2 credentials secret, patching the Data Gate instance, and updating the required ConfigMap to ensure compatibility with the target Data Gate release.
