Migrating from the IBM Certificate manager to the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager

The IBM Certificate manager is deprecated.

If the IBM Certificate manager (ibm-cert-manager) is installed on your cluster, use the following steps to migrate your certificates from the IBM Certificate manager to the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager (cert-manager Operator).

When do you need to complete this task?

One-time setup Complete this task before you upgrade to IBM Software Hub Version 5.4.

If you are already using the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager, skip this task.

About this task

To manage your certificates with the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager, you must uninstall the IBM Certificate manager and then install the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager.

Your existing certificates are retained and picked up by the Red Hat OpenShift certificate manager.
