Connecting applications to the Db2 database server

To connect your applications with JDBC ODBC to the Db2 database server, you must install IBM Data Server driver packages.

Procedure

To download the driver packages, follow these steps.

  1. Download the driver packages from the Download Fix Packs by version for IBM Data Server Client Packages web page. Choose a download link from the Version 11.5 column.
  2. Choose one of the following methods to install the drivers based on the database connectivity method that the client application uses.
    ODBC CLI applications
