Recapturing test result baseline

You can automatically rebaseline your expected output based on the execution of your DataStage job.

  1. Open the Test data in use and select the test output files that you want to rebaseline.
  2. Click the trash icon to delete the data file.
  3. Run your test case without changing any specification. DataStage identifies that no expected results exist for the files you’ve deleted and re-creates them using the data that is captured at runtime. Note that the test case will fail when executed in this mode.
  4. Re-execute the same test case job. DataStage will now use the new baseline result files.
