Based on your requirements, you can customize various components in watsonx.data™. You can find the details in the following sections.

Switching between Milvus modes in watsonx.data
IBM watsonx.data offers two modes of installing Milvus service, namely Lightweight and Full.
Customizing components
A project administrator can specify additional customization of properties for different components in watsonx.data. You can set additional customizations other than the default ones as part of the post-install procedure. The following specifications are optional and it can be altered to change the component-level customizations.
Customization through API
You can customize watsonx.data properties through an API for Presto (Java) and Presto (C++).
