To install the Data Gate backend on
your z/OS, follow the steps in this
section.
Procedure
- In the Program Directory for IBM Data Gate for z/OS, follow the instructions in chapter 6.1 Installing Data Gate to install the
FMIDs HAQT710 and JAQT712 using SMP/E on IBM
Z.
Data Gate on CP4D only needs FMIDs HAQT710 and JAQT712.
- Install the fix for APAR PH57138. This fix contains updates for the IBM® Db2® Analytics Accelerator stored procedures. Data Gate uses the same set of stored procedures, which
is why the updates are also required for Data Gate. See Data Gate stored procedures for more information. The fix for APAR PH57138
comprises the following program temporary fixes:
Important: If you have installed IBM Db2 Analytics Accelerator
for use with the same Db2 for z/OS system, then
these PTFs already exist. In this case, skip this step.
