Managing tours

As an IBM® Software Hub administrator, you can decide whether you want users to access the tours that are provided with IBM Software Hub.

Before you begin

Required permissions
To manage tours, you must have one of the following permissions:
  • Administer platform

About this task

Tours help users learn about the platform. Some tours introduce high-level concepts, while others offer step-by-step guidance. Users can access available tours from the Tours icon in the toolbar.

If you don't want users to access the integrated tours, you can disable the tours feature.

Procedure

  1. Log in to IBM Software Hub.
  2. From the navigation menu, select Administration > Configurations and settings.
  3. Click Tours.
  4. To prevent users from accessing the tours that are provided with IBM Software Hub, toggle the switch to Disabled.

Results

The tours are disabled and the Tours icon is not displayed in the toolbar. Users cannot access any tours.
