Post-installation setup for Db2 Big SQL

After you install Db2® Big SQL, you must set up the service before you can begin using it.

Complete the following tasks:

Optional: Configuring dedicated OpenShift worker nodes for Db2 Big SQL
You can provision Db2 Big SQL on dedicated Red Hat® OpenShift® worker nodes.
Optional: Preparing to connect Db2 Big SQL to an IBM Storage Scale object store
If you are planning to connect Db2 Big SQL to an IBM Storage Scale object store, you must update the Db2 Big SQL service custom resource before you provision a Db2 Big SQL instance.
Preparing to provision a Db2 Big SQL instance
To query data, Db2 Big SQL instances must be connected to an existing remote big data storage system.
Creating a service instance for Db2 Big SQL
After you install Db2 Big SQL, you must create at least one Db2 Big SQL service instance in the operands project. You can choose the method or methods that you want to use to create service instances.
