Getting started with Db2 Big SQL

Use the Db2 Big SQL service to access data that resides on legacy remote Hadoop clusters and on private or public cloud object stores, and then run SQL analytics on that data.

With Db2 Big SQL, you can do the following activities:
Query data across platforms
Access and analyze data and perform queries across data sources such as Hadoop, object stores, and data warehouses.
Drive real-time analytics
Concurrently exploit Hadoop SQL queries across Hive, Hbase, and Spark by using a single database connection, and even a single query, to achieve analytics in real time.
Connect your data
Make data available to data scientists and analysts with connections to Watson Studio and existing Jupyter Notebooks to federate to RDBMS and to Oracle, Db2, and Netezza.
