Services
You can install numerous services on IBM® Software Hub based on your business needs.
Many IBM-provided services are listed in the Services catalog in the web client. However, some IBM services are not listed in the Services catalog.
Review the service documentation to determine which licenses you can purchase to access the service.
Accessing the Services catalog
To access the Services catalog, open the navigation menu and select .
You can click on the service that you want to learn more about.
Each service description includes links to the documentation for installing and using the
service.
Restriction: Only an instance administrator can install services.
What services are installed?
Restriction: This information applies only to services that are in the catalog. Some
services are not listed in the Services catalog.
If a service is already installed, it has one of the following statuses:
- Ready to provision (Available)
- The service is installed, but an administrator must deploy an instance of the service before you can use it.
- Ready to use (Enabled)
- The service is installed and ready to use. Depending on the service, you might need to be given explicit access to the service before you can use it.
- Stopped
- The service is installed by cannot be used because it was shut down to conserve resources. An instance administrator must restart the service before you can use it.
If the service that you want to use is not installed, click Deploy to see
the instructions for installing the service.
Remember: Only an instance administrator
can install services.
