Restoring data archived by Data Gate

You can restore the data of archived partitions from the dashboard of a Data Gate instance.

1. Make sure that the Cloud Pak for Data perspective is selected. If necessary, click to change the perspective.
2. Under My instances, click the name of the instance that you want to edit.
3. Click Open instance.
4. Click the Table tab.
5. Select the tables that contain archived partitions that you want to restore (select the check boxes in the first column on the left of the table list).
6. On the header of the table list, click .
7. In the Restore partition window, select the partitions that you want to restore (select the check boxes in front of the partition names).
8. Click Continue.
9. Check the summary that is displayed. If the selection is correct, click Restore.
