Installing or upgrading Data Gate

Ready to install or upgrade Data Gate?

Updates

  • The web user interface for the provisioning of Data Gate instances has been improved.
Issues fixed in this release
The following issues were fixed in this release:
Data Gate instances got stuck after upgrading from version 5.2.1 or lower
  • Issue: Fixed a problem where a Data Gate instance got stuck after upgrades upgrading to version 5.2.1 from an earlier version.
  • Resolution: Instances do not get stuck anymore when they are upgraded from one of the indicated versions. The relevant API image was replaced.
Adding or loading a table caused the appearance of false error messages
  • Issue: Adding or loading a table after the upgrade caused error messages to appear, which indicated a failure of the add or load operation, even though the operation was successful.
  • Resolution: The false error messages do not show anymore because the relevant API image was replaced.
WAITFORDATA queries used to fail with SQL0901N and SQLSTATE=58004
  • Issue: WAITFORDATA queries failed when they were run against a Db2 Warehouse database. SQL error SQL0901N and SQLSTATE=58004 were shown.
  • Resolution: You can now run WAITFORDATA queries successfully against a Db2 Warehouse database. SQL error SQL0901N and SQLSTATE=58004 are not shown anymore.
