Administering with MongoDB Ops Manager Instance administrator If you created a MongoDB database deployment in your IBM Cloud Pak for Data cluster, you can access the MongoDB Ops Manager to complete common tasks such as managing the users that have access to the database or configuring your MongoDB nodes.

Database configuration

Giving users access to MongoDB databases Instance administrator By default, only the user who creates the database has access to the database. This user is the First Ops Manager user and must give other users access to the database.
Configuring TLS for a MongoDB database Instance administrator

To encrypt connections to your MongoDB database instance, you need to first enable TLS in the MongoDB Ops Manager custom resource and then enable TLS in the database's custom resource.
