An instance administrator can upgrade Db2 from IBM Cloud Pak® for Data Version 4.8.5 or later to IBM Software Hub Version 5.2.1.

Upgrading Db2 database instances with HADR
If your Db2 database instances have High Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) enabled, a specific upgrade procedure is required. This process is different than the standard upgrade procedure for database instances that do not have HADR enabled.
