Post-installation setup for IBM Knowledge Catalog
To finish setting up an IBM Knowledge Catalog service after installation, complete the mandatory tasks and the appropriate optional tasks.

You must complete these tasks to set up an IBM Knowledge Catalog service.

Setting up IBM Knowledge Catalog
Before platform users can work with an IBM Knowledge Catalog service, you must set it up.
- Required role
- To complete this task, you must the IBM Software Hub admin user.
To set up an IBM Knowledge Catalog service, perform these tasks:
- Set up the default catalog.
- Assign the Administrator user role to one or more users who can complete the tasks to set up IBM Knowledge Catalog. Alternatively, complete those tasks yourself.
Optional tasks
You can perform the following optional tasks to enhance IBM Knowledge Catalog. You must have the appropriate permissions on the OpenShift cluster.
