Post-provisioning setup for OpenPages

Before you can use OpenPages, you need to complete some post-installation tasks. Do these tasks after you provision a new instance.

If you want to use OpenPages Loss Event Entry, do the steps in Post-provisioning setup for OpenPages Loss Event Entry.

Procedure

  1. Get the URL for your OpenPages instance.
    1. On the IBM® Software Hub home page, click the name of your OpenPages instance.
Or, click Instances, and then click the OpenPages instance.
    2. Copy the URL in the URL field. Store it in a bookmark or favorite in your browser.
You use this URL to log in to OpenPages.
  2. If you are using an external database and you want to be able to filter based on the content of long string fields, download the utilities by running the following command:
    oc cp openpages-<instance_name>-sts-0:/opt/ibm/OpenPages/aurora/bin/full-text-index ./full-text-local-folder
