Getting started with Anaconda Repository for Cloud Pak for Data

Use the Anaconda Repository for Cloud Pak for Data service by controlling the open source packages that data scientists use in Jupyter notebooks and JupyterLab in Watson Studio projects.

With Anaconda Repository, you can create an environment template in your projects, and add software customizations that grant access to packages.

Checking whether the service is installed

An administrator must install Anaconda Repository for Cloud Pak for Data.

To check whether the service is installed:

  1. From the navigation menu, select Services > Services catalog.
  2. Search for Anaconda Repository for Cloud Pak for Data.

If the service is installed and ready to use, the tile in the catalog shows Ready to use.

Accessing the service

Cloud Pak for Data watsonx™ Depending on the other services that are installed, Anaconda Repository for Cloud Pak for Data is available from either of the IBM Cloud Pak® for Data experience or the IBM watsonx experience.
