The Security Dashboard lets you view
the health of your security settings. Find information on attackers,
intruders, and victims and view what attacks and packets the appliance
blocked over time.
Navigating in IPS Local Management Interface:
You can find information about the following
security options:
- Security health: find the health status
of security features and of the SNORT system
- Top 10 Attacks: find the name of the attack
and when it occurred
- Top 10 Intruders: find the IP address of
an intruder and when it tried to enter the network
- To 10 Victims: find out what IP address
is being attacked and when
- Last 10 IPS Events: find information on
intrusion prevention events, such as when they occurred, the names,
severity, and status
- Blocked Attacks: find out what the number
of attacks the appliance blocked and compare it to the number of attacks
it did not block
- Block Packets: find out the number of packets
the appliance blocked and compare it to the volume of traffic in the
network
