Uninstalling IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise

Return all your hosts to a clean state by removing your IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise cluster.

Before you begin

After installation, verify that you did not change the roles of the machines in the LSF inventory to ensure that the uninstaller can properly clean up the machines.

About this task

Uninstall IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise. Remove the LSF management hosts, and secondary failover management candidates, the GUI server hosts, the database host, and all compute servers and LSF client hosts. This procedure also removes the IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise installation repository and the high-availability shared directory.

Attention: These steps remove all files associated with IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise from all machines. The contents of the IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise database and the high-availability shared directory (HA_shared_dir) are deleted. All Elasticsearch data is also deleted. The LSF administrator user (lsfadmin) still exists after installation.

Procedure

Run the uninstallation command to remove IBM Spectrum LSF Suite for Enterprise components from all machines.
