Requirements with IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager

If you have IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager and are using flow functionality from within IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center, ensure you meet the requirements.

Installation location

  • If IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager is locally installed, you must install IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center on the same host.

  • If IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager is installed on a shared filesystem, IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center must be installed on a host that can access the shared filesystem.

IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager Client must be installed

You must install the IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager Client on the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center server.

Configuration

If you install IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager after IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center, you will need to manually set the JS_ENVDIR environment variable in the file $GUI_CONFDIR/profile.ppm.pmc to point to the IBM Spectrum LSF Process Manager configuration directory. After making the change, restart IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center so that everything works properly.
