Defining new user roles
Define new user roles if the predefined user roles do not suit your needs.
About this task
IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center has several predefined user roles with default permission settings. You can add permissions to these built-in roles, but you cannot remove permissions, nor can you assign or unassign user or user groups.
Define new user roles to have more control over the permissions to assign to users and user groups without the limitations of the built-in roles.
Procedure
- Select the Systems & Settings tab, then select .
- Choose the Role Assignment view.
- In the Users & Groups column, select the user accounts for which you want to assign a user role.
- Add new user roles in the Roles column.
