Requirements for IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client

Before you install IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client, ensure that your host meets the requirements.

  • Get the installation package: pac_desktop_client10.2_win-x64.msi or pac_desktop_client10.2_win-x64.tar. You can install the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client by running the .msi file on the desktop or by extracting the contents of the tar file into a directory that is shared to users.
  • When uncompressing the Desktop Client tar file, the Desktop Client top directory should be set to LSF_Desktop_Client.
  • Ensure that you have Windows 7 or Windows 10 on the host on which you want to install.
  • User accounts: Ensure that your Windows users have a Linux operating system user account on the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center server.
