NICE Desktop Cloud visualization (DCV) requirements for Linux

The NICE Desktop Cloud visualization (DCV) integration with IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center has requirements for IBM Spectrum LSF management host and server hosts, the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center web server, DCV rendering hosts, and the DCV user end station.

IBM Spectrum LSF server hosts (application hosts)

  • IBM Spectrum LSF, Version 10.1, or later.
  • RealVNC Visualization Edition (VE) 4.6.3 Server is properly installed and configured
  • NICE DCV Server 2016 is properly installed and configured
User accounts
  • OS user account names are used.
Shared disk
  • It is recommended to configure a shared disk accessible to all LSF® server hosts (application hosts).
  • File permissions on the shared disk are managed through OS user account permissions.

IBM Spectrum LSF management and IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center web server
