Configuring HTTPS with high availability
By default, IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center enables HTTPS after installation. To set up and configure an HTTP server to work with high availability, extra configuration steps are required to use it as a gateway to LSF Application Center and balances the load among the servers.
If you are using IBM HTTP Server high availability, disable HTTPS after installation, check that everything is working properly, then follow Enable HTTPS when IBM HTTP Server high availability is configured in IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center.
Starting in Fix Pack 15, you can use Apache HTTP Server high availability. Apache HTTP Server is not included with the IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center package, but is a supported HTTP server for LSF Application Center. In this case, you install and configure Apache HTTP Server first, and then follow Enable HTTPS when Apache HTTP Server high availability is configured in IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center.
