Transferring inventory from warehouses and fulfillment centers

The Calculate item delivery date API is enhanced to include ship-to-store (STS) when making promising calculations. The Calculate pre-purchase shipment assignments API is also enhanced to introduce the support for transferring inventory from the warehouses or fulfillment centers when making order-fulfillment decisions. You can configure transfer rules between nodes such that an order can be fulfilled after the receiver node receives the missing inventory.

Sometimes, inventory might not be available in a store for picking. In such cases, orders can be fulfilled by using inventory that is transferred from the nearby warehouses and fulfillment centers. The APIs are designed to detect whether an order needs inventory transfers.
