Aggregate KPIs

During Optimization, KPIs are aggregated. Shipping benefit KPIs are aggregated in real time. These KPIs can be viewed on the Dashboard and Benefits report. Aggregates are the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that are calculated based on all the orders that were shipped within a certain time period.

You can view the actual benefits for the following Aggregate KPIs inside the Aggregates tab of the benefits report.

Total monetary net benefit Total gross shipping benefit Total reinvested shipping cost Total gross stockout avoidance Total gross regular markdown avoidance Total idle assets reduced	The total shipping and inventory monetary benefit that was obtained during the selected time period.
Total shipping cost	The total estimated shipping cost for all orders that were shipped within the specified time period. This number is an estimate since the Optimization service suggests a fulfillment location and estimates that an order ships in a certain way, with a certain carrier, and by a certain date. The might Sterling Order Management System honor the suggestion, but how an order is finally shipped depends on the node.
Total processing cost	The total processing cost of the orders that were shipped during the selected time period. Hourly rate × Total number of hours that were required to process the units = Total processing cost
Total orders	The total number of orders that were shipped within the selected time period.
Total orders that are fulfilled in single and multiple packages Total orders with split packages Total orders fulfilled in a single package	The total number of orders that were fulfilled in one or multiple packages within the selected time period.
Average cost per order Shipping cost Processing cost Node capacity balancing cost Distance penalty Delay penalty	The sum of the costs of all orders divided by the total number of packages that were shipped within the selected time period.
Average packages per order	The average number of packages in each order that were shipped within the selected time period.
Average order lines per order	The average number of order lines in each order that were shipped within the selected time period.
Average units per order	The average number of units in each order that were shipped within the selected time period.
Total packages by SLA Meets SLA Misses SLA Meets SLA with shipping upgrade	The total number of packages that are expected to meet their SLA, miss their SLA, or meet their SLA with a shipping upgrade during the selected time period. Meets SLA: The estimated total number of packages that are expected to meet the customer SLA. Misses SLA: The estimated total number of packages that are expected to arrive to the customer late because the SLA cannot be met under any circumstance. Meets SLA with shipping upgrade: The estimated total number of packages that will likely have to be upgraded to meet the customer SLA. For example, an order with an SLA of Ground Shipping might need to be expedited by 2nd Day Air to accommodate the time that the order spends in sourcing.
Total packages	The total number of packages that were shipped within the selected time period.
Total packages per carrier service	The total number of packages that were sent by each carrier service within the selected time period.
Average cost per package Shipping cost Processing cost Node capacity balancing cost Distance penalty Delay penalty	The average cost of each package that was shipped within the selected time period.
Average units per package	The average number of units within each package that was shipped during the selected time period.
Average distance per package (mi.)	The average number of miles that were traveled to deliver each package that was shipped within the selected time period.
Average weight per package (lb.)	The average number of pounds that each package that was shipped within the selected time period weighed.
Total units	The total number of units that were shipped within the selected time period.
