Configuring custom attributes
Custom attributes are specific attributes that aid in extensibility.
Procedure

From the menu, click . For more information about the business purposes that the custom attributes are associated with, see Custom attributes.
- Click Create attribute.
- Input a name and identifier.
- Select the purpose of the attribute. For example, Promising for Promising rules, Transfer for transfer rules,, Supply for supply rules, or Inventory tag for additional batch level details by creating custom tags during supply receipt.
- Assign a value type from the drop down. You can select either string or double for Promising and Transfer, or string, double, or date for Supply and Inventory tag.

Check the Purpose of the attribute.
For more information on purpose, see Configuring custom attributes.
- Toggle the Status button as Enabled to enable the custom attributes for the mentioned values.
- Click Create. The number of custom attribute types and purpose that can be created is limited per tenant. For example, you might only be able to create 10 promising string attributes. Ensure that the attributes that you create meet your business purposes.
