Optimization explainer
The optimization explainer shows all the orders that are optimized based on your business objective configurations. You can apply basic or advanced filters to orders. You can select an order to view a more detailed summary that includes shipment details.
You can search for an order to view how it is optimized according to your business objective configurations. For more information, see Using the optimization explainer.
Rejected, excluded, and failed orders
Some orders in the list might be labeled as Rejected or Excluded.
- Carriers were not configured at the ship node.
- Carriers were configured, but did not meet the weight limit criteria of the SKU.
- Carriers were configured, but did not ship to the address requested in the order.
- The ship node was not enabled for fulfillment.
- A timeout occurred during optimization.
To find out why the ship nodes were rejected, click the order ID.
- The order line is for a delivery service, not a product.
- The delivery method for the order line is same day delivery, so the ship node is preselected.
- The delivery method for the order line is pickup.
- The order line is fulfilled by a vendor node.
If an order ID is labeled as Failed, it indicates that an error occurred
and the optimization process did not complete successfully. To investigate these issues, you can
filter the Error codes list. Then, you can identify and review the specific
error details. Usually, the failure relates to configuration data. For example, the error code
OTMZGNE015 signifies that a required ship node is not configured. For more
information about these Error codes, see OTMZOPTE - Optimization service errors. To view orders by the optimization status you can
select to view only successful or failed orders.
