Managing unsegmented inventory for segments

You can define how to utilize unsegmented inventory for segments. For example, in the event of a stockout in a segment, you can apply a consumption rule to consider another segment with unsegmented inventory. This results in more inventory being made available and the stockout is avoided.

1. Log in to Order Hub.
2. Click Inventory () and select Segmentation rules.
3. To view or add segment consumption, select the Segment Consumption tab.
   The segments that are shown consume unsegmented inventory.
4. To view or to create a segment, click Manage segments. For more information, see Configuring segments.
5. To remove segment consumption, in the Actions menu, click the Remove icon and click Remove.
6. To add segment consumption, click Add segment consumption. Then, select the segmentation to add and click Add.
