Delete the environment for the service to uninstall the IBM® Sterling Intelligent
Promising. In an integrated mode, if you delete the SIPEnvironment, then
the whole of Sterling Intelligent
Promising environment, including Inventory
Visibility, Promising, Optimizer, and Utility services are deleted automatically. In an independent
mode, you must delete the environments for each service manually.

web console to uninstall Sterling Intelligent
Promising.
Procedure
- Uninstall IBM Sterling Intelligent
Promising by using command-line interface.
Following step uses oc commands.
- Delete the environment for IBM Sterling Intelligent
Promising or the services by running
the following
command.
oc delete <environment_type> <environment_name> - n <sip_installation_namespace>
Here,
- <environment_type> can be SIPEnvironment, IVServiceGroup, PromisingServiceGroup, UtilityServiceGroup, or OptimizerServiceGroup.
- <environment_name> is the name of the environment that is given when
creating the environment.
- Alternatively, uninstall IBM Sterling Intelligent
Promising by using Red Hat
OpenShift Container
Platform web console.
- From the context selector in the navigation menu, click
. A page with tabs for SIPEnvironment and
all the service groups that you created opens.
- Go to the tab of the environment that you want to delete.
- Click the three-dot icon next to the environment you want to uninstall, and select to delete
it.
