Carriers and carrier services

A carrier provides shipping and delivery carrier services between you and the shopper. You can associate one or more carrier services with a carrier.

For example, you can define a carrier, such as Fast Track Delivery who provides carrier services, such as Ground, 2DayAir, and Expedited Overnight. For each carrier service, you can configure shipping zones, transit duration, and shipping rates that are used in Sterling Intelligent Promising calculations.
