The runConfig command starts the system configuration tool that IBM Verify Identity Governance provides.

Command description

To manually start the system configuration tool, run this command:

IM_HOME/bin/runConfig

If the EJB User or System User user IDs or passwords are changed on the operating system, use an additional install argument to force the update on the WebSphere® Application Server. If these user IDs or passwords are changed, run this command:

IM_HOME/bin/runConfig install

If you have problems with the system configuration tool, check the IM_HOME/install_logs/runConfig.stdout log file for more information. The system configuration requires several minutes to complete. It requires additional time if the install argument is used.
