The DBConfig command starts the database configuration tool that IBM Verify Identity Governance provides.

Command description

To manually start the database configuration tool, run this command:

IM_HOME/bin/DBConfig

After you change a field value, click Test to ensure that the connection to the database is active. When the database test is successful, the Test button changes to Continue. After you click Continue, the database configuration requires several minutes to complete.

If you have problems with the database configuration tool, check the IM_HOME/install_logs/dbConfig.stdout log file for more information.
